Hello Friend 👋
Here are Seven Things I was curious about this week:
Innovation: HBR article on the hard truth about innovative cultures.
Innovation: I finally got around to watch the Theranos documentary. It’s definitely worth seeing.
Design tools: Conducting user research over Zoom just got a little easier with User Zoom.
Data visualisation tools: Getting colours for datavis right is hard. Two tools I found very helpful are the LearnUI colour picker and the colour contrast checker.
Management: Why performance reviews might soon be a thing of the past.
Tools/Fun: Excel turns out to be more versatile than I thought and showed me that the choice of tool sometimes doesn’t matter as long as you’re a master of it: For example, you can build 3D worlds or make art in Excel.
Inspiring people: One girl’s childhood dream set her on the journey to be the first person on Mars.
