👋 Hi there,
Here are Seven Things I was curious about this week:
Data visualisation: The beautiful and live visualisations on the US election results by Bloomberg filled my second screen all week. If you want to get a little more conceptual then take a look at The Fabric of America, a stunningly designed and engineered “celebration of Latino voices”.
Product development: Sometimes I find it best to pause on a roadmap and consolidate to grow user engagement. One of the first things I think about during such times is effective user on-boarding and other non-app engagement strategies.
DesignOps: Design Operations had its big moment a few years ago, but it is only becoming more important now that …. y’know. Join the Invision talk on the topic next week.
Design: I lost myself in Awwwards’ collection of creative 404 error pages
Tech: There is something incredible but also Black-Mirror-esque about being able to capture “complete memories” in 3d with an iPhone
Enterprise: Engaging employees with corporate newsletters
Newsletter: One of my favourite Newsletterists started a daily series for November that follows his walk along Pachinko Road in Japan. It’s been a treasured source of daily escapism for me and I highly recommend you follow along.
